New partner
invites for discussion
MarkLogic invites for discussion and Stefan goes: Stefan participates for Prime Force in a panel discussion at the "MarkLogic World" in London and ties important contacts.
Mixed feelings
Prime Force, as the newest partner of MarkLogic, has been invited to the "MarkLogic World" in London. I will participate in a panel debate at the partner event. I feel honored and well prepared for it. Even though I have been in London for business reasons several times this year, this time I have mixed feelings: the two attacks at the London Bridge – one only a few days ago – have also left their mark on me. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the exchange with employees and other partners of MarkLogic. The Pub event to attune for the fair is therefore perfectly timed.
Rewarding conversations
Already on the first evening I lead many constructive discussions and get to know among others the sales managers of the automotive sector and the person responsible for the Scandinavia area at MarkLogic. I’m setting a date with both of them for further exchange – I'm looking forward to it.
Impressive perspectives
The approximately 400 MarkLogic customers arrive at the impressive halls of the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) in London. Where usually aspiring engineers bring their brain coils to red-hot glow, MarkLogic offers exciting lectures to its customers. For example, I learn what steps the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) is taking in the digital transformation process. Or how the company "Aetna" uses operational data hubs to boost its business. Not less impressive is the view from the roof terrace of the IET.
An app that pleases
MarkLogic offers full-service for its customers in an app specially programmed for the trade fair: This is how I get the latest program information and find out where the next lectures take place that interests me. With the app, MarkLogic shows its product benefits – I like it.
In the spotlight
Today, the focus is no longer on customers, but on the partners of MarkLogic. Around 50 partner companies meet at the Mermaid Theatre for exchange and a panel discussion, in which I participate as Prime Force representative. I am one of four speakers who are on stage to talk shop about the MarkLogic operational area. The response to this was gratifying: some partners approached me after the panel debate on the basis of my remarks – this has resulted in one or the other meetings.
Royal conclusion
Because I'm not able to catch the plane in the evening, I’m staying one more night in London to conclude the fair at “The Ned”. I meet like-minded people in the Hotel lounge and I'm sure it’s not the last time that I have a beer here. But I am already halfway with my thoughts with my family, which I meet tomorrow in Frankfurt.
